		Thomas Lee went missing 
		between 6 - 8 August 1915.  A court of inquiry held at Tel-el-kebir 
		on 12 February 1916 stated that they believed him to be dead, but that 
		insufficient time had elapsed. His death was confirmed by a court of 
		inquiry held in the field, France on 5 June 1916. Army Service papers, National

 Thomas Lee enlisted in the 
		Royal Marines on 14 April 1898 at Eastney Banks, England. He was 
		discharged on 22 June 1910.  He was 5' 7½" when he enlisted and 5' 
		9½" when discharged.  He had a fresh complexion, brown hair, grey 
		eyes and a small mole on the left side of his neck.
